Kuwait FM calls for Mideast free from nuclear weapons

(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - Kuwaiti Foreign Minister says Kuwait leans support behind all efforts which are aimed at establishing peace.Our government stresses for finding solutions to Syria crisis and expressed the hope for Lakhdar Brahimi’s efforts in maintaining Syrian integrity.He also paid tribute to the former UN envoy to Syria Kofi Annan’s effort.Kuwaiti Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah hit out at Israel and said that the Zionist regime still resorts to force against Palestinian people and continues settlement building, while defying bilateral peace talks to end the Israeli-Palestinian standoff.Sheikh Al-Sabah hoped for the sustainable peace in Palestine and called for withdrawal of Israeli forces into the 1968 borders.He said that Kuwait also calls for a Middle East free from nuclear weapons and urged Israel to abide by international regulations./129
